"58 5.8 Management acknowledged the audit recommendations and committed to coordinate closely with the concerned officials to complete the required reports. Insurable properties not covered by insurance 6. A total of ₱106,955,865.77 or 57.41% of ₱186,304,361.95 insurable Buildings and Other Structures of the City were not yet covered by insurance from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) General Insurance Fund (GIF). Moreover, (a) several motor vehicles tagged as serviceable in the RPCPPE had expired insurance policies and registration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), thus, exposing the City to the risk of not being indemnified for any damage to or loss of properties arising from fire, earthquake, storm, flood, and other force majeure and risk of incurrence of penalties ; and (b) the City paid penalties ranging from ₱120.00 to ₱1,150.00 for late registration of motor vehicles.
