"This represents funds transferred to the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) in 1989 to 1990 which remained unliquidated as at year-end. A demand letter dated April 12, 2011 was sent to the Administrator of the NIA for the immediate submission of the audited Statement of Disbursements with the corresponding Credit Notice issued by the COA Auditor. The Accounting Division did not receive any response from the NIA Office."
